21.49

餘通依六識者，餘謂修斷貪、瞋、無明，及與修惑相應無慚、愧、昏、掉，並大煩惱中不信、懈怠、放逸，此等名餘也。此餘惑等，一一皆通六識地起。

"The rest extend to reliance on the six consciousnesses": 'the rest' refers to greed, hostility, and ignorance abandoned by cultivation, as well as shamelessness, non-dread, torpor, and restlessness associated with defilements [abandoned by] cultivation, and together with lack of faith, indolence, and negligence among the great defilements—these are named 'the rest.' These remaining defilements and so forth each extend to arising based on the spheres of the six consciousnesses.
