21.68

於彼斷位者，若他界遍行斷位者，謂苦、集智忍生時也。若滅、道有漏緣斷位者，謂滅、道智忍生時也。不知彼所緣者，若斷他界遍行時，不知上界苦、集也。若斷滅、道有漏緣時，不知彼邪見、疑、無明也，以滅、道智忍但知滅、道諦故。

As for 'at the time of their abandonment': if it is the time of abandoning the universal afflictions of other planes, it refers to the time when the intellectual receptivities to the knowledge of suffering and the origin arise. If it is the time of abandoning those with defiled objects under cessation and the path, it refers to the time when the intellectual receptivities to the knowledge of cessation and the path arise. As for 'one does not know their cognitive objects': when abandoning the universal afflictions of other planes, one does not know the suffering and origin of the higher realms; when abandoning those with defiled objects under cessation and the path, one does not know that wrong view, doubt, and ignorance, because the intellectual receptivities to the knowledge of cessation and the path only know the truths of cessation and the path.
