從此第五，明斷惑得滅。論云：「前言惑斷由治道生，道勝進時，所斷諸惑為再斷不（第一問）？所得離繫有重得耶（第二問）？」頌曰：

Next, fifth, the attainment of cessation through the abandonment of defilements is explained. The treatise states: "It was previously said that the abandonment of defilements arises due to the path of antidotes. When the path progresses in excellence, are the defilements that have been abandoned abandoned again (first question)? And is the disjunction that has been attained attained anew (second question)?" The verse says:
