故未起勝道，名住果非向者，結上三果不名後向也。謂斷五品至道類智，未起五品勝果道故，但名預流果，故不名第二向也。

Regarding 'and thus has not yet produced the superior path, one is named abiding in fruit and not an enterer': this concludes that the above three fruits are not called subsequent enterers. That is to say, having abandoned five categories, upon reaching the subsequent cognition of the path, because one has not yet produced the path to the superior fruit of the five categories, one is only called a stream-enterer, and therefore not called an enterer upon the second [fruit].
