As for 'dying everywhere' (sarvasaṃkrānta): they take rebirth completely throughout all sixteen heavens, hence called 'dying everywhere'. Those without mixed cultivation are born throughout the form realm, except they cannot go to the five Pure Abodes (Śuddhāvāsa); dying in Bṛhatphala, they go on to take rebirth in the three formless realms, and subsequently are born in the Peak of Existence, where they then attain parinirvāṇa. Thus, in the lower eleven heavens of the form realm, both those who delight in concentration and those who delight in wisdom can take rebirth; at the Bṛhatphala heaven, they branch into two paths: those who delight in wisdom are born in the five Pure Abodes, while those who delight in concentration are born in the formless realm. These five are called 'those who proceed in the form realm'; although the anāgāmin who delights in concentration is born in the formless realm, because they pass through rebirth in the form realm, they are included within the form realm.
