釋曰：三依欲後三者，初三果人依欲界得，名三依欲。後阿羅漢通三界得，名為後三。

Explanation: "Three are based on desire; the latter on three": persons of the first three fruits obtain them based on the desire realm, hence "three are based on desire". The final [fruit], the arhat, is obtained across all three realms, hence "the latter on three".
