25.22

釋曰：一切果退須臾必得，無有命終而不得者。若命終者，修梵行果應非安隱可委信處。又住果位所不作業，於果退時慚愧增故，亦必不造，譬如壯士雖蹶不仆。

Explanation: Whoever falls away from a fruition will surely attain it again in a brief moment; none will die without having attained it. If one were to die, the fruition of cultivating the pure life would not be a place of security and trust. Furthermore, actions that one does not perform while abiding in the stage of fruition are also certainly not done when one falls from the fruition, because shame and modesty increase, just as a strong warrior, though stumbling, does not fall prostrate.
