從此第七，明練根不同，論云：「如上所說，有練根得無學、有學，正練根時，各幾無間？幾解脫道（第一問也）？何性攝（第二問也）？何所依（第三問也）？」頌曰：

Seventh, this explains the differences in refining the faculties. The treatise states: "As explained above, there are those who refine their faculties to attain the [stages of] aśaikṣa and śaikṣa. When properly refining the faculties, how many uninterrupted paths and how many paths of liberation are there respectively (first question)? What nature subsumes them (second question)? What do they rely upon (third question)?" A verse says:
