前三無色地，除戒前二種者，前三無色除戒三支，及除前二即是喜、尋，總除五種，故三無色各三十二也。

'The first three formless realms lack morality and the preceding two': The first three formless realms exclude the three morality factors, and also exclude the preceding two, which are joy and examination; in total five kinds are excluded, and therefore each of the three formless realms has thirty-two.
