釋曰：修道初剎那，修六或七智者，修道初剎那者，道類智是也。此智現前，修未來智或六、或七。未離欲者未來修六，謂四諦智、法智、類智。已離欲者七，更加他心。

The explanation says: [Regarding] "At the first moment of the path of cultivation, one cultivates six or seven knowledges": the first moment of the path of cultivation is the knowledge of the category of the path. When this knowledge manifests, one cultivates six or seven future knowledges. One not yet free from desire cultivates six in the future, namely the knowledges of the four truths, dharma-knowledge, and category-knowledge. One already free from desire [cultivates] seven, adding knowledge of others' minds.
