從此第三，明實體能所，論云：「十六行相實事有幾（一問）？何謂行相（二問）？能行所行（此有兩問，一問能行，二問所行也）？」頌曰：

Next is the third [part], explaining the real entities and the agent and object of activity. The treatise says: "How many real entities are there in the sixteen aspects (the first question)? What is meant by aspect (the second question)? What is the active agent and what is the object of activity (here there are two questions: one asks about the active agent, the second asks about the object of activity)?" The verse says:
