27.16

宿住死生智，依靜慮餘通者，宿住、死生二力依四靜慮起，所餘八智通依十一地起，謂欲界、四禪、未至、中間並四無色也。

'The knowledges of former abodes and death and rebirth rely on dhyāna, while the rest are common [to all stages]': The two powers of former abodes and death and rebirth arise relying on the four dhyānas. The remaining eight knowledges arise commonly relying on the eleven stages: namely, the desire realm, the four dhyānas, the preliminary, the intermediate, and the four formless [attainments].
