釋曰：心一境性名之為定，此品廣明，故名分別。就此品中總分三段：一明定功德、二明正法住世、三明造論宗旨。

Explanation: One-pointedness of mind is called concentration (samādhi). Because this chapter extensively elucidates it, it is named "Analysis [of Concentrations]". Within this chapter, there are three main sections: first, explaining the virtues of concentration; second, explaining the endurance of the True Dharma in the world; third, explaining the author's purpose in composing the treatise.
