從此第二，引證。犢子部問：「如何得知，約相續說知一切法非我遍知？」論主答云：「說佛世尊有三世故。」犢子部問：「於何處說？」

Next is the second part, citing proof. The Vātsīputrīyas ask: "How is it known that knowing all phenomena is stated with reference to the continuum, and not that the self knows all?" The author of the treatise answers: "Because it is said that the Buddha, the World-Honoured One, exists across the three times." The Vātsīputrīyas ask: "Where is this stated?"
