此住者，復由命根，此六根一期住也。此雜染者，此六根成雜染，由五受根也。
'Its abiding': furthermore, due to the life indriya, these six indriyas abide for a lifespan. 'Its defilement': these six indriyas become defiled due to the five feeling indriyas.
