3.22

此資糧者，此六根能與無漏淨法作資糧，由信等五也。此淨者，此六根成無漏淨，由後三根也。

'Its provisions': these six indriyas can serve as provisions for untainted, pure phenomena due to the five [indriyas] of faith and the rest. 'Its purification': these six indriyas become untainted and pure due to the last three indriyas.
