3.90

若成就苦根，彼定成就七者，彼者，彼苦根定成就七根也，謂身、命、意、喜、樂、捨、苦根。夫成苦根必是欲界，故此七種不可闕也。於四受內除憂根者，離欲捨故。

"If possessing the suffering faculty, that one definitely possesses seven": "that one" means that possessing the suffering faculty definitely possesses seven faculties, namely body, life, mind, joy, pleasure, equanimity, and the suffering faculty. Whenever one possesses the suffering faculty, one must be in the desire realm, so these seven kinds cannot be lacking. Among the four feelings, the grief faculty is excluded because it is abandoned upon detachment from desire.
