9.24

如次四餘生者，「如次」兩字配上業、智俱勝，是輪王、二佛也。四餘生者，四謂第四入胎，即入、住、出位皆不正知，除前三種，餘胎、卵生福智俱劣，皆是第四入胎位攝。

Regarding "the fourth is other births respectively", the words "respectively" match the superiority of karma, wisdom, and both above to the wheel-turning king and the two Buddhas. "The fourth is other births": "fourth" means the fourth womb entry, which is not being conscious in any of the states of entering, staying, or leaving; aside from the preceding three kinds, other womb-born and egg-born beings are inferior in both merit and wisdom, and are all subsumed under the fourth state of womb entry.
