9.43

「宿惑位無明，宿諸業名行，
識正結生蘊，六處前名色，
從生眼等根，三和前六處。
於三受因異，未了知名觸，
在婬愛前受，貪資具婬愛。
為得諸境界，遍馳求名取，
有謂正能造，牽當有果業，
結當有名生，至當受老死。」

"Ignorance is the stage of past affliction; / past karmas are called karmic formations; / consciousness is the skandhas at the exact moment of rebirth-linking; / prior to the six sense spheres is name-and-form. / From the arising of faculties like the eyes, / prior to the threefold gathering, is the six sense spheres. / When differences in the causes of the three feelings / are not yet understood, it is called contact. / Prior to sexual desire is feeling; / craving for material requisites and sexual desire is craving. / Running about everywhere / to obtain sense objects is called grasping. / Existence refers to that which directly produces / karma that projects the fruit of future existence. / Rebirth-linking into future existence is called birth; / up to future feelings is aging and death."
