'Or each and every joint is likewise': 'Or' indicates the statement of other masters: 'Each and every joint of the Buddha's body possesses the strength of Nārāyaṇa.' The Venerable Dharmatrāta said: 'The physical strength of the Buddha, the Tathāgata, is infinite, just like his mental strength.' As for the interlocking joints of the Greatly Awakened One, the pratyekabuddha, and the wheel-turning king having differences: the Buddhas, the World-Honoured Ones, are like coiled dragons; pratyekabuddhas are like interlocking hook-chains; wheel-turning kings are like hooked together; hence, looking at the three, their strength has superiority and inferiority.
