From "If one cannot properly contemplate emptiness" downward is the third [section], clarifying that people with acquisition do not understand the single dharma and arbitrarily generate faults. The single dharma refers to the emptiness of the single true character. Because they do not skillfully comprehend emptiness, they fall of themselves into the view that there are no Three Jewels or Four Truths; thus they are harmed by the view of emptiness—it is not that the doctrine of emptiness destroys the Three Jewels and Four Truths. Therefore, the fault lies with the outsider; the error is not Nāgārjuna's. Thus a sūtra says: "Better to give rise to a view of the self than to grasp emptiness wrongly; one does not fall into the evil destinies through the view of the self."
