此言生者，即生支故，唯識云：始從中有至本有中，未衰變來皆生支攝。
What is called 'birth' here is precisely the link of birth; hence the Consciousness-Only [treatise] says: 'From the intermediate existence up to within the prime existence, all that has not yet decayed and transformed is subsumed under the link of birth.'
