時節中，在胎經三十八七日，後經四日，合逕二百七十日，方始出生。此說極滿足者，或經九月，或復過此者，九月即是三十八七日，或復過此即是餘經在胎十月，此說極滿足者。

Under time period: Remaining in the womb for thirty-eight times seven days, and then passing four days, making a total of two hundred and seventy days before birth begins. This speaks of the fully complete duration. Regarding "or passing nine months, or exceeding this": nine months is precisely thirty-eight times seven days; "or exceeding this" refers to the ten months in the womb mentioned in other sūtras.
