1.46

然觀上下，今古所解，合為四類：一、唯取行，二、取境行果，三、三并取教，四、此三竝。如釋說：前來傳解：一、境，二、理，三、行，四、果，五、得果既圓，利生救物，藥病相應。

However, observing what precedes and follows, the interpretations past and present are combined into four categories: first, taking only practice; second, taking object, practice, and fruition; third, taking these three together with teaching; fourth, taking these three concurrently. As the Commentary explains: 'The interpretations transmitted from before are: 1. object, 2. principle, 3. practice, 4. fruition, 5. once the attainment of fruition is complete, benefiting sentient beings and delivering living things, matching the medicine to the illness.'
