唯識第四有二說：一云，唯一剎那，以此文等為證；二云，此依未自在位多分率爾心唯一剎那，非等流及自在染淨心生。

The fourth fascicle of the Vijñaptimātratāsiddhi presents two views: one says there is only a single moment, taking this text and others as proof; the other says this is based on the stage of non-mastery, where for the most part the spontaneous mind lasts only a single moment, not the arising of flowing-forth minds or defiled and pure minds with mastery.
