The twenty-sixth says: 'at the proper time and not at an improper time.' This means giving food and not clothing when hungry, giving cool things and not fire when hot, and so forth. 'Pure giving by oneself and others' means not perceiving a giver and a receiver. 'Conforming to propriety' means that the things given [do not include] knives, poison, liquor, and so forth. 'Giving with an undistracted mind' has a meaning that can be known.
