初、不為貪求自讚毀他，是律儀戒，即當勝鬘經於諸眾生不起嫉心。
First, not praising oneself and disparaging others out of greed: this is the precept of restraint, and corresponds to not arousing jealousy toward sentient beings in the Śrīmālādevī-sūtra.
