遂求忍中，先解八種名遂求忍，後釋忍名義。八中，測云：前三是耐他怨害忍唯除自惱，後五是安受苦忍除自他惱。

Under "patience in compliance with seeking," it first explains the eight kinds termed "patience in compliance with seeking," and afterward explains the meaning of the name patience. Among the eight, Ce says: The first three are the patience that endures harm by other enemies, which solely eliminates affliction in oneself; the latter five are the patience that peacefully accepts suffering, which eliminates affliction in both oneself and others.
