前中，於諸有苦來求索者要逼能忍者，善戒經云：貧窮之人數，從菩薩乞索。依法大悲，不損惱忍者，由依教法及依大悲故能忍故也。

Among the former, regarding "being able to bear with those who are in suffering and come to beg and press hard": the Bodhisattvacaryānirdeśa says that poor people repeatedly beg from the bodhisattva. Regarding "not harming or afflicting on the basis of the Dharma and great compassion": it is because he is able to be patient by relying on the teaching of the Dharma and relying on great compassion.
