此他世樂忍中，有九者，測云：舊論師生老病死即四，寒熱飢渴合為一，除前不放逸故有九種。

Regarding there being nine kinds under this "patience for bliss in other lives," Ce says: In the older treatise masters' view, birth, old age, sickness, and death are four; cold, heat, hunger, and thirst are combined into one; eliminating the preceding non-negligence, there are thus nine kinds.
