策勵勤修名精進，即用善位勤數為體，此中廣明故名精進品，科文准前。

Exertion and diligent cultivation are called vīrya, which takes the mental factor of diligence in the wholesome category as its essence. Because it is explained in detail here, it is called the Chapter on Vīrya; the structural division follows the preceding [chapters].
