According to Tripiṭaka Master Paramārtha: Wisdom in accordance with principle is called the suchness of things; wisdom in accordance with measure is called the full extent of things. Now we explain that both apply to the two wisdoms. 'The suchness of things' means knowing the intrinsic nature of all phenomena according with the dharma. 'The full extent of things' means exhaustively knowing the measures of principle and phenomena as the distinctions of all phenomena. Both of these have three propositions: 1. solely taking principle as object has these two kinds; 2. solely taking phenomena as object also has these two kinds; 3. taking both principle and phenomena as objects also has these two kinds. According to the text below, it particularly divides the two kinds based on taking principle as object. Regarding 'innate wisdom, past wisdom', etc.: due to the power of wisdom repeatedly cultivated in previous lives, wisdom arising spontaneously in the present body is called innate wisdom. 'Wisdom endowed with teaching', etc.: being able to receive the wisdom of the meaning of what is heard is called teaching wisdom. 'Wisdom endowed with realization': the initial one is all the wisdom from the first stage upward, as stated in the text.
