一切門中，一、欲斷諸蓋向善趣者，為先時所應作法者，景云：人天善業無始世來數數曾得名，說先時所應作法。

Under the all-embracing approach: regarding the first, 'wishing to sever all hindrances and proceed toward favorable destinies, through practices that ought to be done beforehand': Jing states: Because wholesome karmas of humans and devas have been repeatedly attained since beginningless time, they are called practices that ought to be done beforehand.
