七中，景云：初一、慰喻語，第二、慶悅語下，就勝益語中，分為五。後五中，初一、教示於他資具小欲廣恣，次一愛語無畏施語，次一法施，後二可解。測云：七中，初二同事語，次有三布施語下，二利行語。施中，初一財施，次一無畏，後一法施。

Among the seven: Jing states: The first is consoling speech; from the second, congratulatory speech, downward under speech of supreme benefit, it is divided into five. Among the latter five, the first is teaching others to have few desires regarding requisites and broad satisfaction; the next is pleasant speech of giving fearlessness; the next is giving of Dharma; the latter two can be understood. Ce states: Among the seven, the first two are speech of shared aim; next are three kinds of speech of giving; below that are two kinds of speech of beneficial practice. Among the giving, the first is giving of wealth, the next is giving of fearlessness, and the latter is giving of Dharma.
