棱法師云：或於遠離者，見道離障行。或於心一境性者，見道攝善行也。或於清淨諸障者，修道離過行也。或於修習作意，正安處之者，修道中攝善行也。後亦約果即大小別分所以為異。

Dharma Master Leng says: "'Or in seclusion' refers to the practice of abandoning obstacles in the path of seeing. 'Or in one-pointedness of mind' refers to the practice of gathering virtues in the path of seeing. 'Or in purifying all obstacles' refers to the practice of abandoning faults in the path of cultivation. 'Or in cultivating mental engagement, correctly settling [them]' refers to the practice of gathering virtues within the path of cultivation. The latter parts also refer to fruition; they are distinguished according to the difference between the great and small [vehicles], which accounts for their distinction."
