不於非解脫非定清淨處等者，泰云：謂不於無想天等非解脫處求為真解脫，不四無色定非定清淨處求為定淨，即於其中能正勸導名不轉利行。又釋：非道計道名定清淨也。

Regarding "not in states of non-liberation and non-meditative purity, etc.": Tai says: "It means not seeking true liberation in states of non-liberation such as the heaven of non-conception, and not seeking meditative purity in states of non-meditative purity such as the four formless absorptions; being able to correctly exhort them right within these is called unswerving beneficent practice. Another interpretation is: taking what is not the path to be the path is called 'meditative purity.'"
