五蘊和合假立士夫，士夫作用所得之果名士用果，此即從義作用為名，士夫是義用是作用。
The combination of the five aggregates is conventionally designated as a 'person' (puruṣa); the fruition obtained by the activity of a person is called a virile fruition (puruṣakāraphala). This takes its name from the meaning of activity: 'puruṣa' is the meaning and 'kāra' is the activity.
