11.123

上辯知世間竟下明隨順世間。於中，有四；一、明化順物情愛語行轉；二、若識不識下，明化稱物機利行轉；三、或為現法利益事義下，明化遂物心施行轉；四、於所應作彼彼事中下，明化合時宜同事行轉。

The above explanation of knowing the world is finished; below clarifies conforming to the world. Within this, there are four: 1. transforming by conforming to people's feelings, turning through the practice of affectionate speech; 2. from 'whether acquainted or unacquainted' downward, transforming by matching people's capacity, turning through the practice of beneficial action; 3. from 'or for the sake of matters of benefit in the present life' downward, transforming by fulfilling people's intentions, turning through the practice of giving; 4. from 'among the various tasks that ought to be done' downward, transforming by adapting to the needs of the moment, turning through the practice of common endeavor.
