十四垢業者，此出阿含善生問經，彼解十業云：離四結業，謂殺盜邪婬及以妄語，離四非處所起之業，謂貪瞋癡怖，離六損財。所謂一、耽酒；二、博戲；三、放盪；四、耽著伎樂；五、惡友相損；六、懈怠嬾墮。

As for the 'fourteen defiled deeds,' this comes from the Āgama's Sujāta-sūtra. That sūtra explains the ten deeds, saying: abandoning the four binding deeds—namely, killing, stealing, sexual misconduct, and false speech; abandoning the deeds arising from the four improper situations—namely, greed, anger, delusion, and fear; abandoning the six ways of squandering wealth—namely, 1. indulgence in alcohol; 2. gambling; 3. dissoluteness; 4. attachment to theatrical music; 5. harm through bad companions; 6. indolence and laziness.
