11.127

攝四善友者，一、止非友；二、慈愍友；三、利人友；四、同事友。依彼阿含經一一別解。但舊地持云：離十四垢業，謂隱覆六方，難四惡友，攝四善友。地持應是錯也。

As for 'gathering four good friends': 1. the friend who halts wrongdoing; 2. the compassionate friend; 3. the friend who benefits others; 4. the friend of common endeavor. They are explained individually according to that Āgama sutra. However, the old Bodhisattvabhūmi says: 'abandoning fourteen defiled deeds, which means concealing the six directions, reproaching four bad friends, and gathering four good friends.' The Bodhisattvabhūmi must be an error.
