遠四惡友者，一、畏伏友以畏故伏非是好心；二、美言友心不真實；三、敬順友善惡俱順；四、事惡友惡事皆作。

As for 'distancing oneself from four bad friends': 1. the friend who submits out of fear—submitting because of fear, not with a good heart; 2. the friend of flattering words—whose heart is not truthful; 3. the friend of respectful compliance—complying with both good and evil; 4. the friend in evil deeds—committing all evil deeds together.
