11.278

下約入辨，地前菩薩未見聲聞，雖於涅槃口說寂靜，而未能正證，能彼亦有如理作意，謂亦有依教思量作意。

Below, distinguishing in terms of the entrant: Bodhisattvas before the stages have not yet seen the śrāvakas; although verbally speaking of tranquility regarding nirvāṇa, they have not yet directly realized it, yet they also have appropriate attention—that is, they also have the attention of deliberation relying on the teaching.
