法攝大乘者，景云：上七解大，此八即解乘義。於中，前三就教辨乘，次三如次聞思修慧即就行辨乘，第七是智果，第八是斷果即就果辨乘。

Regarding 'the dharmas embracing the Mahāyāna': Jing says: 'The seven above explain "great" (mahā), while these eight explain the meaning of "vehicle" (yāna). Among them, the first three explain the vehicle in terms of teaching; the next three, being sequentially the wisdoms of hearing, thinking, and cultivating, explain the vehicle in terms of practice; the seventh is the fruit of knowledge, and the eighth is the fruit of abandonment, thus explaining the vehicle in terms of fruition.'
