11.397

增上慧三住中，云謂諸菩薩如實了知能勸真實等者，謂道品是能觀。四地觀彼能觀，道品諸諦是所觀。五地觀所觀也。六地菩薩觀知眾生，由迷無智故眾苦流轉，由悟有智眾苦止息。

In the three abidings of higher wisdom, where it says, "meaning that all bodhisattvas truly know the ability to urge the real, etc.": the aids to awakening (bodhipakṣa-dharmas) are the observing [mind]; the fourth ground contemplates that observing [mind]. The various truths of the aids to awakening are the observed [objects]; the fifth ground contemplates the observed. The bodhisattva of the sixth ground contemplates and knows that because sentient beings are deluded and lack wisdom, they transmigrate through manifold sufferings; and because of awakening and possessing wisdom, the manifold sufferings are stilled.
