若依前解，與攝論少不同，攝論約三僧祇分為三位五人，依此三位五人為十二住，彼種姓住據發心，此云種姓是未發心故不相當。

If relying on the former explanation, it differs slightly from the Mahāyānasaṃgraha. The Mahāyānasaṃgraha divides [the path] in terms of three asaccṃkhyeya eons into three stages and five persons; relying on these three stages and five persons, it posits twelve abidings. Its abiding of gotra is based on having generated the aspiration, whereas here gotra is prior to generating the aspiration; therefore they do not correspond.
