言下忍轉時，如上所說相狀上品等者，景、基同云：謂前所說地前過失在十信位具下忍時此過是上品，在十解十行時具中忍，十迴向等具上忍，其過則中、下。

Regarding 'when the lower patience operates, the conditions and signs explained above are of the upper grade' and so forth: Jing and Ji both say: it means that the previously explained faults prior to the grounds are of the upper grade when possessing the lower patience at the rank of the ten faiths; they possess the middle patience at the ten resolves and ten practices; and at the ten dedications, etc., they possess the upper patience, and their faults are then of the middle and lower grades.
