初明何相發心，謂已超地前，十地經中厚集善根等十句以明依身，初句是總餘九是別。

First, in explaining with what characteristics the mind is generated, it means having surpassed the levels prior to the stages; the ten phrases in the Daśabhūmika-sūtra, such as 'richly gathering roots of goodness', are used to explain the basis of embodiment, where the first phrase is general and the remaining nine are specific.
