於此住中下，辨攝報果，初明在家果，次云當知威力過前十倍，即示出家果。舊論云：神力十事，如修多羅說。依如十地經云：一者、於一念間得千三昧乃至十二，於一一身能示千菩薩以為眷屬。此中云十倍者，初地得百，二地得千。故即舊云十事者，謬也。有釋：此云威力即名願知果。今解，不爾。

From 'in this stage...' onward distinguishes the fruition of accrued retribution: first it clarifies the householder's fruition; next it says, 'one should know that their sovereign power exceeds the former tenfold,' which shows the fruition of leaving the household life. The old treatise says: 'ten matters of supernatural power, as stated in the sūtra.' According to the *Daśabhūmika Sūtra*, it says: 'first, in a single thought-moment, obtaining a thousand samādhis... up to twelfth, in each body being able to display a thousand bodhisattvas as a retinue.' Here, stating 'tenfold' means that the first stage attains one hundred, and the second stage attains one thousand. Thus, the old translation's statement of 'ten matters' is erroneous. There is an explanation that 'sovereign power' here is called the fruition of knowledge born of aspiration; this is now explained as not so.
