"Purity of roots of good, rebirth, and majesty are to be known according to the sūtra" constitutes the fifth, sixth, and seventh clauses. Regarding the "purity of roots of good," as the sūtra states: Just as ornaments made of genuine gold, having been fastened to the head or neck of a wheel-turning sage king, cannot be matched by all the ornaments belonging to minor kings and the people of the four continents, so too the roots of good of the bodhisattva dwelling in this stage become increasingly superior, luminous, and pure, incapable of being destroyed by any of the two vehicles or by bodhisattvas of lower stages. It also states: Just as the Great Brahmā King can illuminate all dense forests throughout the trichiliocosm, so too the bodhisattva dwelling in this stage radiates the light of roots of good to illuminate the dense forests of the afflictive minds of sentient beings, and having illuminated them, gathers them back. Regarding "rebirth," as the sūtra states: Dwelling in this stage, they mostly become Great Brahmā Heaven Kings, obtaining great power, ruling the trichiliocosm, and having mastery therein. Regarding "majesty," as the sūtra states: In a single instant, they attain samādhis numbering as many as the dust motes of ten asaṃkhyeya hundreds of thousands of buddha realms, behold buddhas, and so forth, up to extensive explanations.
