"Purity of roots of good" is the seventh clause. The sūtra states: Disciple of the Buddha, just as a skilled goldsmith skillfully refines this gold into an ornament, interspersed with unsurpassable maṇi jewels, and fastens it to the neck or head of the Sovereign Heaven King, so that the ornaments of the remaining devas and humans cannot match it, so too the inconceivable practices of knowledge in the tenth Dharma Cloud stage of this bodhisattva cannot be matched by any sentient beings, śrāvakas, pratyekabuddhas, or bodhisattvas from the first stage up through dwelling in the ninth stage. It also states: Just as the light of the King of the Maheśvara Heaven surpasses the light of sentient beings in all places of rebirth and can make the bodies and minds of sentient beings pure, so too the light of wisdom of the bodhisattva dwelling in this stage cannot be matched up through bodhisattvas dwelling in the ninth stage. "Rebirth" is the eighth clause. The sūtra states: Dwelling in this dwelling, the bodhisattva mostly becomes the King of the Maheśvara Heaven, fully endowed with mastery. "Majesty and so forth" is the ninth clause. The sūtra states: In a single instant, they attain samādhis numbering as many as the dust motes of ten ineffable hundreds of thousands of millions of billions of nayutas of buddha worlds, behold buddhas, and so forth, extensively explained as in the sūtra.
